Ryan Pohl is a journeyman CNC machinist with years of experience in high-speed and multi-axis machining. He is also a State of Michigan certified manufacturing teacher, and has taught at both high school and college levels. He holds an Associate's degree in Manufacturing Tooling, a Bachelor's degree in Technical Education and a Master's degree in Industrial Training and Development.

Ryan is motivated to raise awareness in our industry about the coming skilled-labor shortage and how it has the potential dramatically hinder future sustainability and growth. He believes that with a renewal of pride in workmanship and an updated training format, Americans can secure their future as leaders in the industry.

Art Hedrick is the owner of training and consulting firm Dieology, located in Greenville, Michigan U.S.A. He is journeyman tool and die maker with over 28 years of metalworking experience. Since 2001, Art has been the author of the "Die Science" column in Stamping Journal and The Fabricator.com, and he has also written numerous technical articles on stamping die design and build for a number of trade publications.

Art has over 150 clients and has been the recipient of many training awards. He has held Chairman positions of stamping councils with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers as well as Fabricators and Manufactures Association. Art is a senior member of S.M.E. and is active in metal stamping and consulting world wide.

In 2009, Art joined the Expert Tech team, drawn to the goals and principles that the company was founded upon, and is currently developing a number of online courses that focus specifically on sheet metal stamping dies.
